Eleven years ago, I took a chance on my vision for a more personal, accessible approach to financial planning for professionals. That plan was the foundation for Your Richest Life, and the journey has taught me more than I ever could have imagined.
As I’ve helped my clients navigate their finances, I’ve learned that it’s about so much more than money. Behind the numbers are very human goals, dreams and passions guiding each financial decision along the way.
Since I launched my business, I have been lucky enough to work with more than 150 families, been quoted in dozens of articles, appeared on podcasts and news segments, and spoke to several groups about improving their finances.
In 2024, I was also honored to receive D Magazine’s Best Financial Planners in Dallas award for the 10th year in a row. I am so thankful to have been nominated for this award, and to be a part of such a supportive network of DFW financial planners.
11 Years: By the Numbers
This past year I have:
- Worked with more than 40 families to develop their financial plans
- Received the D Magazine Best Financial Planners in Dallas award for the 10th year in a row
- Appeared on WFAA to talk about how to avoid “doom spending”
- Contributed to the 250+ articles on the Your Richest Life blog
- Been featured in articles on Bankrate, Investopedia and Newsweek
On a personal note, I also had a great time traveling over the past year.
In May, I had the opportunity to travel to Croatia and Slovenia with Credo, the Dallas-based community choir that I’m a part of.

Performing on the steps of Saint Blaise in Dubrovnik.

Exploring the Postojna Cave in Slovenia.

The Gregory of Nin statue in Split, Croatia.

Split, Croatia

Sunset in Dubrovnik

My family and I also had a wonderful time celebrating my sister’s beautiful wedding in Denver this summer.

As always, I want to thank my husband and my daughter for supporting me at every step along the way. They are my biggest cheerleaders, and I couldn’t do it without them.
I am so fortunate to be surrounded by friends and mentors in the industry who are willing to offer a helping hand, a new idea or a different perspective along the way.
And of course, thank you to my clients for trusting me with your questions, your dreams and your fears. I have been honored to work with so many amazing people from the beginning. I can’t wait to see what the next year has in store for Your Richest Life.
